Go Giddy Giddy for these hairclips!
I guarantee you'll get giddy over these hairclips. These little girl barrettes will brighten up any outfit and add some fun spark to your toddler's style. Giddy Giddy designs are totally original - including cupcakes, ice cream cones, penguins, ducks, strawberries and more. Giddy Giddy was founded by Teri Dimalanta, a craftaholic Mom with a "desperate need to tame her new daughter's unwieldy mohawk with something cool, quirky, and fun." These barrettes are super safe and use snap on clips. I use these fun clips for Mackenzie's baby fine hair - and they totally work perfectly and look too cute!

Products like these are definitely one of the best things about being a girl mommy. These handmade felt hairclips are cool, quirky and fun. The designs come in flowers, fruits, veggies, and sweets, and animals (we found the duck especially charming). Not just adorable, these clips are also solidly functional and safe. Handcrafted with a snap clip sewn securely inside, these clips are designed to stay put, even if your little one has just the slightest wisp of hair to tame.

Giddy Up

Mamahood apparently comes without the warning label that potential side effects may include creative liberation and career change.

Case in point: Teri Dimalanta of giddygiddy, a self proclaimed “investment analyst turned craftaholic mom” (whose story is similar to my own). The giddygiddy collection features clips in the form of flowers (big and little blooms), food (fruits, veggies, and treats), and the cutest little animal collection you’ve ever seen. And Teri’s clever styling goes beyond the "oohs!" and "aahs!" effect. The metal snap clip is sewn snuggly into the felt design to avoid snags, and stay put in fine baby hair.

Adorable hairclips for the tiniest of hair
Don't tell my husband, but my baby boy was wearing the most darling hairclips today. And, while they didn't match his rough n tumble t-shirt, the clips were adorable!

I recently received samples of Giddy Giddy Hairclips. The felt designs are hand-stitched with great attention to details. And while they look delicate, they're holding up well. Giddy Giddy has created over 30 unique styles for baby girls, and is just recently launched a line for older girls as well.

Attached to little clippies, Giddy Giddy hairclips are small enough for thin baby hair, to tame the flyaways and first longer lengths of hair. Perfect for keeping bangs out of eyes.

Another adorable product that's making me yearn to try for a third baby!

Giddy Giddy to Tame Your Baby's Mohawk

Just because a headband or a bow on your little girl's melon doesn't strike your fancy doesn't mean she has to wear her hair in a mohawk. With these super adorable handmade felt hairclips from Giddy Giddy, you can tame her mane in a way that actually matches your sense of stlye.

GIDDY GIDDY
I tried to come up with a creative title for this blog entry, but I couldn’t seem to find anything that described these designer hair clips better than the company’s own name – Giddy Giddy. These super-sweet, handcrafted clips are the creation of self-proclaimed “craftaholic” mom, Teri Dimalanta. Needing both a creative outlet and a practical way to tame her baby girl’s unwieldy mohawk, Teri began designing her own hair clips. And thanks to entrepreneurial spirit, she created Giddy Giddy – a line of cute and quirky clips for little girls. From flowers to gumdrops to pink popsicles, these clips are the epitome of eye candy.

Gotta get some Giddy Giddy
We love Giddy Giddy's adorable new line of homespun looking felt hair clips. Celebrity Trend Expert Rachel Florio just sent Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter Apple Martin their apple hair clip. So far celebs like Angelina Jolie and Courteney Cox are already starting the trend. Hmm... are these clips for daughter Zahara or for baby Brangelina? Could she be having a girl???

C'est Magnifique

La Bonne Vie Bebe is bursting with designer goodies for your brood. Say that five times fast!

Now of course because I have a daughter with a major need for barrettes, I gravitate to the cute felt hair clips by Giddy Giddy, but if you have a boy perhaps you will enjoy a fashionably masculine Moses basket by Blue Moon Baby?

Let's face it, there are just so many choices!
Owner Susan Vaughn is a mother, grandmother, and it must be said that she has impeccable taste. Browsing through her shop is like going to the ultimate all baby goodies department store.

These Clips Make Me Giddy

We're just getting to the point that my daughter might actually have enough hair for a clip. However, I have been forced to put the kibosh on my victory dance due to the poor offerings of sassy hair clips that work on a head with barely any hair. Seriously, if you are not into satin bows or glittery claw clips, you are way out of luck.

But, have no fear, folks, because I happened upon these cute clips over at Mahar Dry Goods. Made by investment analyst turned craftaholic mom Teri of Giddy Giddy, these handmade felt creations are almost too good to be true. Take your pick of flowers, animals, and food - cute yummy food, that is.

Don't even ask me to choose my favorites, because I love every single one. And even better, they are sewn onto a snap clip so my little one can enjoy them just as much as anyone else with lots of hair. Now back to my victory dance. ~ Kristen

Giddy Giddy Hair Clips
Special thanks to Claire for introducing me to the Mahar Dry Goods site. You're a doll! I'll be mining it regularly!

I was never faced with the dilemma of trying to secure a bow to Jude's extra-fine hair. This is definitely one of the upsides to having a boy. However, I wanted to share these lovelies by Giddy Giddy so that no little girl has to suffer the humiliation of having a bow scotchtaped to her head.

By the way mom, I think I've worked through my issues. No apologies necessary.

Selections available at Mahar Dry Goods.
